Now hiring: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Columbia County, New York. The job is in a botanical garden. On a typical shift you will plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts.
