Urgent requirement: we are hiring a PVC window installer in Mercer County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile 3+ years on the tools preferred.
