Bar bender and fixer • Clay County, Kansas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Clay County, Kansas. You will work at a high-rise construction project. On the job you will handle: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
