Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Logan County, West Virginia. The job is on a construction site. On the job you will handle: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size Ideal candidate: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Six days a week, one day off.
