Now hiring: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Clarion County, Pennsylvania. The role involves: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
