Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Union County, New Mexico. The role involves change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
