Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Mason County, West Virginia. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding The role involves weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size.
