We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Wabash County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Day to day you will tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through.
