Garment machinist • McCreary County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in McCreary County, Kentucky. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Rotating shifts.
