Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Allendale County, South Carolina. The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot We offer $9,750 per project plus benefits.
