We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Current medical and eyesight certificate • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits Day to day you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
