You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate Day to day you will adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables.
