Vacancy available: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Henrico County, Virginia. You will work in a fleet maintenance depot. What we are looking for: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Physically fit for lifting heavy parts On the job you will handle: • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Carry out wheel alignment and tyre balancing • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
