System formwork carpenter — Queen Anne's County

Now hiring: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Queen Anne's County, Maryland. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb You should have: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
