Bakery assistant — Muskegon County

Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Muskegon County, Michigan. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; load and unload the deck oven with a peel.
