Excavator operator wanted in Mills County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in Mills County, Iowa. The role involves: • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook What we are looking for: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
