Rigging foreman • Kiyawa, Jigawa State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Kiyawa, Jigawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should have: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear ₦1,700 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
