Commercial painter wanted in East Riding of Yorkshire

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a commercial painter in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The job is in a paint and spray workshop. Day to day you will prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer; hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams; mix and tint paint to match colour swatches; carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover; spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns; work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers. What we are looking for: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • A good eye for clean lines and an even finish • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,850 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
