Join our team: we are hiring a safety officer in Ringim, Jigawa State. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Your main tasks: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment Meals and transport allowance provided.
