Requirements: • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Able to read wiring diagrams and workshop manuals Day to day you will replace shock absorbers, ball joints and track-rod ends; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries.
