Now hiring: we are hiring a garment presser in Sharkey County, Mississippi. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing.
