Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Saint Bernard Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
