Great opportunity: we are hiring a pressman in Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day to day you will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
