Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Miner County, South Dakota. Day-to-day duties: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $9,500 per project, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
