Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Chenango County, New York. The role involves: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing You should have: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
