Now hiring: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Muscogee County, Georgia. Day to day you will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
