Urgent requirement: moulder (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a moulder in Effingham County, Illinois. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Your main tasks: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills 2+ years on the tools preferred.
