Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lincoln County, Wisconsin. Day-to-day duties: • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Full-time, day shift.
