Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Fayette County, Texas. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Driving licence for travel between sites You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections.
