Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Lee County, Kentucky. The job is in a spray booth. What we are looking for: • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Good eye for colour matching and blending The role involves: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch Pay around $120 per day, based on your experience.
