Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres The role involves fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents.
