Now hiring: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Culpeper County, Virginia. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Ideal candidate: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Your main tasks: • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat 1+ years on the tools preferred.
