Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Roosevelt County, New Mexico. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. You will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
