Fire and safety officer — McDowell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in McDowell County, North Carolina. You will be based at an oil and gas facility. Your main tasks: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) You should have: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time, day shift.
