Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Jones County, South Dakota. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges Full-time, day shift.
