RCC mason wanted in Clinton County

Join our team: we are hiring a RCC mason in Clinton County, Illinois. You will work on a road and bridge project. Your main tasks: • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules 6+ years on the tools preferred.
