Tracked excavator operator • Amherst County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Amherst County, Virginia. You will work in a demolition and site-clearance yard. You will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
