Immediate opening: we are hiring a smash repairer in Monroe County, Alabama. You will be based in an insurance-approved repair centre. Your main tasks: • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray What we are looking for: • Skilled in MIG welding and panel replacement • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
