Formwork carpenter wanted in Powhatan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Powhatan County, Virginia. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. On the job you will handle: • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,500 per project plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
