We are recruiting: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Williams County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
