Steel fixing chargehand wanted in DeKalb County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in DeKalb County, Missouri. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings.
