Bar bender and fixer • Katagum, Bauchi State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Katagum, Bauchi State. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations Day-to-day duties: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings Six days a week, one day off.
