Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Sanborn County, South Dakota. You will work at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Season and marinate meat on request Requirements: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 3+ years on the tools preferred.
