Plant operator (dozer) — City of Galax

We are recruiting: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in City of Galax, Virginia. You should have: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Day to day you will maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; refuel the machine and record running hours; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
