Foundry worker wanted in McCormick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in McCormick County, South Carolina. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
