Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Orangeburg County, South Carolina. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
