Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) The role involves: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
