Elevator service technician wanted in Caroline County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Caroline County, Maryland. The job is at a busy lift company. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Pay around $22 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
