Urgent requirement: concrete placer (Nebraska)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete placer in Rock County, Nebraska. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. Day to day you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour. What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Six days a week, one day off.
