Great opportunity: steel erection rigger (Georgia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Habersham County, Georgia. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles The role involves guide loads through tight openings into their final position; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
